About our Director

Louise Barclay Johnson is a professional vocalist, vocal coach and choir leader. She trained at the University of York under Robert Hollingworth (I Fagiolini) and Alex Ashworth (Royal Academy of Music) and has since led choirs in the UK and Belgium and continues to coach voices across London. She holds an ARSM in Vocal Teaching from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and a Level 5 qualification in Professional Coaching from the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Mixtones is a mixed-voice contemporary a cappella choir led by Louise. The group performs modern harmony arrangements, develops confident vocal blend, and enjoys singing together as a close, committed ensemble.
